Let the base be x

Then height = x/3

Area of llgm= 108cm²

b×h= 108cm²

x*x/3= 108

x²= 108*3

x= √324

x= 18cm

Base of parallogram= 18cm

Height of the parallogram = x/3

= 18/3

= 6cm

Given,

The height of the parallelogram = Base of the parallelogram/3

Area of the parallelogram = 108 cm².

To find,

The base and height of the parallelogram.

Solution,

The base and height of the parallelogram will be 18 cm and 6 cm respectively.

We can easily solve this problem by following the given steps.

Now, we know that the area of the parallelogram is the multiplication of the base and its height.

Let's take the base (b) of the parallelogram to be x cm.

According to the question,

The height of the parallelogram (h) = Base of the parallelogram/3

h = (x/3) cm

Area of the parallelogram = 108 cm²

base × height = 108 cm²

x × (x/3) = 108 cm²

x²/3 = 108 cm²

x² = (108 × 3) cm² [ 3 was in the division on tbe left-hand side. So, it is in the multiplication on the right-hand side.]

x² = 324 cm²

x = √324 cm

x = 18 cm

The height of the parallelogram = Base of the parallelogram/3

h = 18/3 cm

h = 6 cm

Hence, the base and height of the parallelogram are 18 cm and 6 cm respectively.
