Answer:

Base = 18 cm

Height = 6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the base of the parallelogram be x

Since we are given that The height of parallelogram is one-third of the base.

\Rightarrow Height = \frac{x}{3}

Formula of Area of parallelogram: Base\times Height

So, the area of given parallelogram =  x\times \frac{x}{3}

Since we are given that the area is 108 sq.cm,

\Rightarrow 108 =   x\times \frac{x}{3}

\Rightarrow 108 \times 3= x^2

\Rightarrow 324= x^2

\Rightarrow \sqrt{324}= x

\Rightarrow 18= x

Base = 18 cm

Height = Base/ 3 = 18/3 = 6 cm

Hence the base of parallelogram is 18 cm and height of parallelogram is 6 cm.
