Given :- The height of the equilateral triangle is 9 cm .

To Find :-

  • Side of the equilateral triangle ?

Formula used :-

  • Height = (√3/2) * side of equilateral triangle.

Solution :-

Let us assume that, side of equilateral triangle is a cm.

then,

→ Height of equilateral triangle = (√3/2) * a

Putting given value we get,

→ (√3/2) * a = 9

→ √3a = 9 * 2

→ √3a = 18

→ a = (18/√3)

→ a = (18/√3) * (√3/√3)

→ a = (18√3) / (√3 * √3)

→ a = (18√3) / 3

→ a = 63 cm (Ans.)

Hence, Each side of equilateral triangle is 63 cm.
