Answer:

let the base be x cm then it's height will be x/2 cm

now, are of ||gm = base× height = x × x/2 = 200

= > x² = 400

= > x = √400 = 20 cm

so, base = 20cm

and height = 20/2 = 10cm.

Let the base of a parallelogram be "x".

and, the height of parallelogram is half of base.i.e., "\frac{1}{2}x".

Given :

The Area of parallelogram = 200 \ cm^2

To Find :

The height of parallelogram = ?

The base of parallelogram = ?

Solution :

As we know,

The Area of parallelogram = base × height

Now,

On putting the assumed and given values in the above formula, we get

200=x\times \frac{1}{2}x\\ \\400=x^2\\\\x=\sqrt{400}\\ \\x=20

So,

The base of parallelogram = 20 \ cm

The height of parallelogram = \frac{1}{2}\times 20=10 \ cm
