If we draw median of that triangle, that median will be hieght and it will divide base into half.
Therefore,

height² = hypotenuse² - base ² ( base will be 1/2units)

height²= 1²-(1/2)²

height ² = 1 - 1/4 units.

height ² = (4-1)/4 units.

height ² =3/4 units.

✓height² = ✓(3/4)

or, height= ✓3/2 units.

Answer, height of equilateral triangle with side 1 unit is ✓3/2 units.
