Given:

circumference= 132cm

2πr = 132

r = 132/2π

r = 66/π

r = 66 x 7/22

r = 3 x 2

r = 21

Surface area to be painted = (inner) CSA + (outer) CSA

2πr^2 + 2πr^2

= 4πr^2

4 x 22/7 x 21 x 21

4 x 22 x 3 x 21

= 5,544 cm^2

Cost of 1cm^2 = Rs 5/100

= Rs 0.05

Therefore, Cost of 5,544 cm^2 = 0.05 x 5,544

= Rs 277.2
