1. The highest peak in India is Kanchenjunga located in Sikkim between the border of India and Nepal at a height of 8,856m high above from sea level.

2. The highest peak in India located entirely within country is Nanda Devi Peak. Situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand with a height of 7,816m high.

3. The highest peak in India but in disputed region is K2 or Godwin-Austen located in Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan occupied Kashmir in Pakistan it height is 8,611m.

4. The northernmost peak of India is Saltoro Kangri located on the border between Indian and Pakistani controlled territories in the Line Of Control ( LOC ). It is situated in our indian territory of Northern Ladakh in Siachen glacier. It height is 7,742m high.
