Location - Extends from Nepal to China and Tibet
It is approx 8, 848 metres high
It is 60 - 70 millions year old
It is also known as Sagarmatha given by Nepal govt. which means "goddess of the sky".
The first men to climb Mt. Everest were - Edmud Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953
The first women to climb Mt. Everest was - Junko Tabei from Japan in 1975
Everest was first simply known as - "Peak 15"
