The Sun and the moon exert a strong gravitational force on the earth. The strength creates a regular rise and fall of water in ocean. This rise and fall of water is called tides .

An increase in level of water is called high tide . IF THE SUN, THE MOON AND THE EARTH COME IN ONE LINE , AS SEEN ON A NEW MOON OR FULL MOON NIGHT, THE TIDE BECOME HIGHER , THESE TIDES ARE CALLED SPRING TIDES .

HOPE THAT HELPS YOU ⭐⭐⭐!!
