Answer:

The highly centralised state power gave way to more flexible and local administration in (2) Gupta period.

The Gupta dynasty ruled over the indian region in the period of 375-550AD. One of the key features of their rule was that they reunited the india, they did tremendous work in the fields of medicines and mathematics.

Regarding the flexible and local administration, they distributed state powers upto regional rulers to keep power and maintain local policies, also they were flexible enough to invite the northern territory states of India to come in their alliance and start trading.

Hope this helps you.

thanx.

have a nice day.
