The Himalayas are the highest and theyoungest fold mountains. You
may have read that they are rising higher and higher every year. What is the

The himalaya is a range of mountains, and not just one mountain. It contains many prominent peaks. The highest peak is the Mt. Everest which has a height of 8848 m and is in Nepal. In india, the Kanchenjunga is the highest peak with a height of 8586 m.
