The correct answer is Delhi University

The Hindu College was opened in the year 1899 by Kissan Dassji Gurwale and initially it was affiliated to the University of Punjab as the Delhi University was not yet built that time.

But after the Punjab University decided to remove the affiliation from the college, with the help of Rai Bahadur Lala Sultan Singh, the Hindu College got affiliation from the Delhi University after it was formed in the year 1922 and became one of its chief constituent colleges.
