TV- most popular medium of entertainment!
When it comes to children TV is the most preferred medium of entertainment for them. This is probably because of the variety of programs that are aired on TV. A survey was conducted to study the prevalent TV trends among children, in which 5564 subjects participated. Comedy shows were the most popular, garnering 1423 votes. Action shows followed closely with 1329 votes. Next came cartoon shows with 1115 words, followed by music videos at 1007 words. The least preferred categories were drama and horror with 358 and 332 votes respectively. It is clear that children prefer light hearted comedy over all other genres, and are almost averse to watching horror shows.
