in 1967,almost 20,000 people came from north vietnam to the south vietnam.

this trail also had hospitals and and support bases along its way..supplies were tranported in trucks,but mostly they were carried by porters who were mostly womens.They could carry 25 kilos on their backs and 70 kilos on their bycycles,

although USA bombed this trail trying to stop the supplies but this trail would rebuilt quickly..
