Lets give a name to the vector . Let it be vector A . So acc. to the question , horizontal component of vector I.e. A cos x and vertical component I.e. A sin x is equa l to 20 and 30 respectively. Now write both the equations .

A sin x = 30 --- eqn. 1
A cos x = 20 -----eqn 2
Divide eqn 1 by eqn 2 .
We get tan x = 3/2
There fore angle 'x' = tan^-1 (3/2).
I hope u got it
