horizontal component of earth's magnetic field , B_H=0.22G

vertical component of earth's magnetic field, B_V=0.38G

formula of angle of dip, \delta=tan^{-1}\frac{B_V}{B_H}

= tan^{-1}\frac{0.38}{0.22}

=tan^{-1}\frac{19}{11}

and resistant intensity of earth's magnetic field , B=\sqrt{B_V^2+B_H^2}

= \sqrt{(0.38)^2+(0.22)^2}

= 0.439G ≈ 0.44G

hence, resistant of intensity of earth's magnetic field is 0.44G
