Answer:

the speed of the beam is 2200 metre per second

the distance it has to travell is 1.1 metre so lets find the time

time will be=distance upon speed ie-1.1 upon 2200=1 upon 2000

we write it as 0.5*10 to the power minus 3

now as we know that g is the only force acting so at a time it would have no velocity that is lets take its u = 0metre per sec

now by second equation of motion we have s=ut+1÷2 at square

s= 0 into 1.1 +half into 10 into (0.5 ×10 power minus 3 ) whole square

s=1.25 × 10 power minus 6 answer
