The horizontal distance between two towers is 75 cm and the angular depression of the top of the first tower as seen from the top of the second ,which is 160 m high,is 45° .find the height of the first tower

And angular depression =45°

Let us consider both towers as T1 and T2.

From the diagram,When we draw CB perpendicular to first tower (T1).

When we apply tan to this,⇒Tan 45°=x/75

                         x=75centimeters.

We will find our the first tower's height,x+160⇒75+160⇒235meters.

Hence,The height of first tower is ''235m''.
