the horizontal distance between two types of different height is 60 m. The angle of depression ofbthe top of the first tree when seen from the top of the second tree is 45°.If the height of the second tree is 80 m. find the heigth of the first tree​

Here, AE is height of first tree and BD is height of second tree.

⇒ AE=CB and AB=EC=60m

⇒ In △DEC,tan45

60

DC

∴ DC=60m

⇒ DB=DC+CB

⇒ 80=60+CB

∴ CB=20m

∴ AE=20m

⇒ Length of first tree is 20m
