in 1hour minute hand moves 360°(from 12to12)

that means for every

360° movement of minutw hand , hour hand moves by 30°.

now between 11:20-11:55 ,there are 35minutes

minute hand moves in 1 minute = 360/60=6°

in 35 minutes ,minutes hand moves= 35x6= 210°

For 360° minutes hand,,hour hand covers=30°

for 210° ,minutes hand ,,hour hand covers=(30/360)x210= 35/2°

Angle of sector by radius 6cm(hour hand) is =35/2°

Area of sector= (Angle/360)x π x r^2

A= (35/720)x(22/7)x 36

A= 11/2cm^2
