Find the original rate per hour:

50 hours = Rs 1200

1 hour = 1200 ÷ 50 = Rs 24

Find the new hourly rate:

Increase = 12.5% of Rs 24 = 0.125 x 24 = Rs 3

New Rate = 24 + 3 = Rs 27

Find the new working hours:

Decrease = 8% of 50 hours = 0.08 x 50 = 4 hours

New working hours = 50 - 4 = 46

Find the new weekly wage:

weekly wage = 27 x 46 = Rs 1242

Find the percentage change:

Change = 1242 - 1200 = 42

Percentage change = 42/1200 x 100 = 3.5%

Answer: There is a change of 3.5% to the weekly wage.
