The Hubble Space Telescope is not a normal telescope,it is a satellite like space telescope which is hovering around in the low earth orbit since 1990.It is used for various space research works.
The main source of power of this telescope is the built-in rechargeable solar batteries.The reflectors on it's surface reflects the solar rays to charge it up.For this rechargeable mechanism this power hungry equipment is running for almost 30 years.
