The “human predicament” is the situation humans will have to face when the earth can no longer support the number of people living on it and their standard of living. The resources necessary to sustain life will be gone.

Humans as a species make radical alterations to the environment in which they live. Not all these alterations are necessarily beneficial. Some changes once imposed can not be changed back. The long term impact, the needs of future generations and the possibility of unintended consequence are all rarely considered in decision making. Humans both individually and collectively lack control over the global outcomes.

We are all born into a world built by our ancestors, who were also subject to human predicament
