Humans as a species make radical alterations to the environment in which they live. Not all these alterations are necessarily beneficial. Some changes once imposed can not be changed back. The long term impact, the needs of future generations and the possibility of unintended consequence are all rarely considered in decision making. Humans both individually and collectively lack control over the global outcomes.
We are all born into a world built by our ancestors, who were also subject to human predicament
