:- Electronic configuration of SF₆ → [Ar] 2s¹, 2p³ ,3d² and the structure of SF₆ is octahedral , it means octahedral electron pair. There is no lone pair left .
The hybrid orbital model is shown in the attachments . In the attachment clearly shown that One s , Three p & Two d . valance shells in sulfur atoms are participating in hybridization.
