B^2 = H^2 - P^2

B^2 = 25-16
B = 3

Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × H

= 1/2 × 3 × 4

= 6sq.cm

base^2 =hypotenuse^2-altitude^2
=5^2-4^2
=25-16
=9
so base =3

now area =1/2×base×altitude
=1/2×3×4
=6 cm^2
