The hypotenuse of a Isoscles right angle triangle is root 32 . What is its area ?

 =  \sqrt{32}

 =  \sqrt{16 + 16}

 =  \sqrt{ {(4)}^{2} +  {(4)}^{2}  }

Thus, the other two perpendicular sides are of length 4 units each.

Thus,

Area

 =  \dfrac{1}{ \cancel2}  \times  \cancel4 { \ }^{2}  \times 4

 = 2 \times 4

 = 8 sq. units
