the hypotenuse of a right angle triangle is 1 metre less than twice the shortest side if the third side is 1 m more than the shorter side find all three sides

Let the shortest side be x ,
then Hypotenuse = 2x-1 and other side = x+1
By Pythagoras theorem, 

2x(x-3)=0
x-3=0
x=3
therefore the side of the triange are x,x+1, 2x-1 => 3,4,5
