Let the hypotenuse be x.

x - 6 /2 , x -2 are the other sides.

( x/2 -3 )² + (x-2)² = x²

x²/4 + 9 -3x + x²+4 - 4x = x²

x²/4 -7x +13 = 0

x²-28x + 52 = 0 .

x² - 2x-26x + 52x = 0

x( x-2)-26(x-2) = 0

x = 2 ,26 .

If 2 is hypotenuse, Then other sides, 2 - 6/2 , 2 -2 .These measures are not possible so.

26 is the hypotenuse. Other sides are 10 , 24 respectively.

Ankitsuraj: no you r wrong . let shortest side be x
HappiestWriter012: We can assume anything ,what we require is the correct solution
Ankitsuraj: yes yes yes
