THE HYPOTENUSE OF A RIGHT ANGLED TRI. IS 6.5M AND ITS BASE IS 6M . FIND THE LENGTH OF PERPENDICULAR AND HENCE CALCULATE THE AREA OF THE TRIANGLE

Length of perpendicular = sqrt (6.5^2-6^2)
=sqrt (42.25-36)
=sqrt 6.25
=2.5
So,
Area = 1/2 * 2.5 * 6
=7.5 sq. m.
