here is the answer to the question

hypotenuse =15cm.

leg side=9cm.

therefore by PGT,

hypotenuse square= leg side square +height square.

so, 15^2 =9^2 +x

therefore x=12cm.

hope it helps you

by Pythagoras Theorem,

(hypotenuse )^2 = (perpendicular)^2+(base)^2

(15)^2 = (9)^2+ x2

225 = 81+x2

x2 = 144

x = 12 cm

therefore the other side is 12 cm
