The hypotenuse of a right angled triangle is 26 cm long. If one of the Remaining two sides is of length 10cm, find the length of the other side.

(hypotenuse) sqaure = (base) square+(side)square
(26) whole square = (10) whole square +(side) square
676 -100 = (side) square
√576 = side
side = 24 cm

hypotenuse is equal to 26 CM
By Pythagoras theorem
in a right angled triangle the square of hypotenuse is equal to the square of other two sides .
then
H^2=B^2+P^2
26*26=10*10+P^2
676=+P^2
576=P^2
P=24cm.
so the remaining side is 24 cm
