Answer:hypotenuse is 26 and shortest side is 10 and third side is 24 m

Step-by-step explanation:

let the sides of a right angled triangle be h(hypotenuse),shortest side be 's'

and the remaining side be 'a'

let by given condition h=6+2s and a=h-2

         and converting all the variables into's' we get

                                                      a=2s+4

                      then by pythogores theorem,

                             36+4s^2+24s=s^2+4s^2+16+16s

          by cancelling ,

                             s^2-8s-20=0

                             s^2-10s+2s-20=0

                             s(s-10)+2(s-10)=0

                              s=-2 and s=10 but 's' cant be negative so s=10

                               if s=10 then h=6+2(10)

                                                       6+20=26

                                             and a=2(10)+4

                                                        24
