The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 10 cm. What is the perimeter, in centimeters, of the triangle? The area of the triangle is 25 square centimeters. The 2 legs of the triangle are of equal length.

given area = 25cm

let the two equal sides be x

1/2 * x * x = 25

x^2=50

x = 5root2

now find perimeter I.e...sum of the length of sides of triangle

=5root2 + 5root2+ 10

put value of root 2 = 1.41

approx 24cm...
