by applying phythagoras theorem,
h2=p2+b2
(26)^2=p2+(10)^2
the answer is 24

hypotenuse of a right triangle=26cm
one of the side is=10cm
other side=x
square of hypotenuse=sum of squares of other side's
26*26=10*10+x*x
676=100+x*x
x*x=676-100
x*x=576
x=√576
x=24
so the other side is 24cm
