6 + √6 m    or  √6(√6 + 1) m  or 8.44 m

Let the length of the other side be 'x'.

           Using Pythagoras theorem:

⇒ 3.5² = 2.5² + x²

⇒ 12.25 = 6.25 + x²

⇒ 6 = x²

⇒ √6 = x

 

∴ Perimeter of Δ = sum of all sides

                       = 3.5 + 2.5 + √6

                       = 6 + √6  m
