the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 65 cm. if one of it's sides is 60 cm,find the lenth of other side

by pythagoras thorem hypotenuse^2=base^2+other side^2
here 65^2 = 60^2+other side ^2 
then  4225 =3600+x^2 
x = 25 cm

other side will be found out by the Pythagorean theorem...
let's do it.

h^2 = b^2 + o^2
65^2 = 60^2 + o^2
o^2 = 65^2 - 60^2 = 4225 - 3600 = 625
o^2 = 625
o = √625 = 25
o = 25cm
