H² = P²+B²
65²=25² + B²
B= √65²-25²
B=√3600
B=60cm

hey there......

here is ur answer......

<> first let's learn the formula for the pythogarous theorm.....

<> it is

<>
 {a}^{2} + {b}^{2} = {c}^{2}

where A is the base

B is the perpendicular distance

C is hypotenuse

if we substitute we get

 {a}^{2} + {25}^{2} = {65}^{2}

 a = \sqrt{ {65}^{2} - {25}^{2} }

a = \sqrt{4225 - 625}

a = \sqrt{3600}

a = 60cm

thank u hope this helps u

have a nice day
