hypotenus =6+2x

third side =6+2x-2

x²+(6+2x-2)²=(6+2x)²

x²+36+4x²-4=36+4x²

x²+4x²-4x²=36-36+4

x²=4

x=√4

x=2

first side =2m

hypotenus=6+2x=6+2(2)=6+4=10m

third side=6+2x-2=6+2(2)-2=6+4-2=8m
