PROVIDED:-

The hypotenuse of a triangle is 2.5 cm. If One of the sides is 1.5 cm.

FIND:-

The length of other side.

GIVEN:-

hypotenuse = 2.5cm

one side = 1.5cm ( let it be base )

other side = ?

FORMULA:-

= +

SOLUTION:-

H² = P² + b²

(2.5)² = + (1.5)²

6.25 = + 2.25

6.25 - 2.25 =

4 =

4 = p

2 = P

Hence, the length of the other side will be 2cm.
