We already know that Formula of Pythagorean theorem:-

H²=P²+B²

15²=p²+9²

15²-9²=p²

225-81=p²

144=P²

√144=P

P=12

Thanks!!!!
12=p

your is 12 cm because

formula is

base^2+height^2= hypoteneous ^2

so, 9^+h^2=15^2
81+h^2=225
h^2= 225-81
h^2=144
h=^144
h=12 cm
