Brief concept understanding :-

A right angled triangle are those triangles whose one angle is 90°

The side opposite to the angle of 90° is hypotenuse.

Given :-

• The hypotenuse of right angled triangle is 65cm

• The one side of the right angle is 33cm

Solutions :-

A Phythagoras theorem states that the square of hypotenuse is equal to the sum of square of other two sides that is base and perpendicular.

Let the other side be x

According to the question,

Hypotenuse is given 65 cm and one side is 33cm

Therefore,

By using Pythagoras theorem

H^2 = P^2 + B^2

Put the required values,

(AC)^2 = (AB)^2 + (BC)^2

(65)^2 = ( AB)^2 + (33)^2

4225 = ( AB)^2 + 1089

(AB)^2 = 4225 - 1089

( AB)^2 = 3136

AB = √3136

AB = 56cm

Hence, The another side is 56cm .
