As per Pythagoras theorem, we know,

Base²+ Height²= Hypotenuse²

Let base be one of the given sides.

Height is to be found then,

10²+x²= 26²

x² = 26²-10²

x²= 676-100

x²= 576 cm

Therefore, the other side ( x) is 24 cm.
