In the activity, students of classes 3 and 4 were taught to eat in banana leaf instead of using any plastic utensils. Students of classes 5 and 6 were shown a presentation with regard to the effects of use of plastics. Grade 7 and 8 students were given an opportunity to make slogans and posters. Class 9 students were made aware and given knowledge about the use of plastic.
The activity enabled the students to learn more about use, advantages, disadvantages, etc of plastic. They also got to understand to say no to plastic as it is very harmful and causes cancer and other dangerous diseases.
