This setting may be overriding what you want to use.

Please do the following.

Close any 'Write' windows.

. 'Menu icon' > 'Options'> 'Options'> 'Display' > 'Formatting' tab

• click on 'Colours' button

Uncheck 'Use System colours'

Section:

Override the colours specified by the content with my selections above: Select the following from the drop down selection:

• 'Only with High Contrast themes'

• click on OK

. Click on OK

retry the text using the font colours etc.
