Yes, The image which is formed by a concave lens is always virtual , erect , and smaller than the object .

According to the picture which is given below, There AB is the object

A1B1 is the image

F is the focus

optical center of the concave lens is O

when AD ray comes from A ,it will reflected from D and became DE ray

and the another ray AO goes through the optical center O

If we trace back the ray DE

we can see that it will come from F

and the AO and DF cross each other at A1

and form the image A1B1

which is virtual , erect , and smaller than the object. AB>A1B1
