HEYA MATE, HERE IS UR ANSWER

<b><i>height of object =h

h'(height of image )=1/3 of h

Magnification =Height of image/height of object

m=h'/h

m=\frac{1}{3h}÷h

m=1/3

We also know

m=-v/u

1/3=-v/u

-3v=u

v=1/-3

ignoring -ve sign,

So,V will be 1/3 of u.

Answer:

V=-1/3

Explanation:

h'(height of image )=1/3 of h

Magnification =Height of image/height of object

m=h'/h

m=\frac{1}{3h}

3h

1

÷h

m=1/3

We also know

m=-v/u

1/3=-v/u

-3v=u

v=1/-3

ignoring -ve sign,

So,V will be 1/3 of u
