The image formed in periscope is upright because -
• There are two mirrors in the periscope which are situated in each of the 90° bends of the periscope's body at an angle of 45°.
• Now,when the reflection is created on the first mirror a lateral inversion happens.
• But,this lateral inversion is eliminated by the reflection performed by the second mirror.
• In this way,the a non-inverted and upright image is produced by a periscope.
