Focal length , f = 98 cm

Object distance , u = ?

\bigstar Explanation :

substituting values in formula , we get ,

\implies \frac{1}{98}=\frac{1}{u}+\frac{1}{100}\\\\\implies \frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{98}-\frac{1}{100}\\\\\implies \bold{\frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{4900}}

So , u = 4900 cm
