The image of an object formed by a mirror is real, inverted and is of magnification -1 If the image is at distance of 40cm from the mirror, where is the object placed? Where would the image be if the object moved 20cm towards the mirror? State reason and also draw ray diagram for the new position of the object of justify yours answer

here concave mirror is used
m = 1 means same size of the object
1/f = 1/u + 1/v
m = h2/h1
m = 40/1
m = 40
objct on c
when image moved 20cm towards the pole
1/20 = 1/20 + 1/v
m = 1 means same size of the object
1/f = 1/u + 1/v
m = h2/h1
m = 40/1
m = 40
objct on c
when image moved 20cm towards the pole
1/20 = 1/20 + 1/v

V= -40
M= -1
M= -V/U
So from this U will be -40
Hence the object will at C.
If object is moved 20m towards the mirror then,
Then object will at focus,
So the image will form at infinity
