Answer:
Depletion of natural resources is mainly caused by human activities such as deforestation, rapid urbanization, pollution, etc. that can challenge human existence in the near future.
Overfishing has led to the depletion of fishing stock which has resulted in a wide gap between the demand and supply of fishes. They might become extinct if this continues.
Felling of trees or deforestation has led to an imbalance in nature due to the reduction in the number of plants, and thereby the source of firewood.
This also leads to a loss of habitat as more and more lands are converted into industrial sectors, skyscrapers, etc. Animals are losing their habitat and it is not too far that there won't be any place for our existence as well.
